Preparing ahead of time will help make sure that you turn this year’s Easter season into some extra bunny money for your pockets. As always, we have our long ears on the pulse of the Easter market: what products do well? How much are folks prepared to spend on gifts? Which designs should you focus on? We’ve got a few pertinent pieces of advice for you, so read on.
Something small for the little ones
Your first contemplation should always be who visits your site/shop. Are they looking for clothing or accessories? And are they looking for gifts for kids or adults? You should consider whether your designs fit the Easter bill, or whether to look for suitable designs in Spreadshirt’s Marketplace. As a rule of thumb, you should bear in mind that kids’ gifts should be adorned with classic, cute Easter designs, and that – unlike Christmas – Easter gifts don’t usually exceed $20. This means that lavishly printed hoodies won’t do as well as accessories with only one spring-like design.
The right products
Suitable Easter products include a cuddly teddy bear, mugs (as a cool carrier for chocolate eggs and Easter candy), tote bags (an absolute necessity for the Easter egg hunt) as well as smartphone covers, and buttons. These products will surely make spring more fun and add value to your shop.
A new coat of color
Make sure that your designs are in line with your peer group, the season and the occasion (in this case, Easter). Spring will be in full bloom before we know it, and Easter is a time for kids to look for sweet little somethings in the garden. Time for you to do some spring cleaning in your shop and let your brand shine in a brand new light. Spread cheerful Easter messages through your social media channels, and include subtle links to your newly designed products.
